A visitor copies text
Visitors select and copy useful text such as FAQs, product specifications, pricing terms, or addresses.
The product dimensions are 1,200 mm wide and 900 mm high.

Record it safely in WordPress
Only qualifying selections of at least 10 characters are sent asynchronously to the same site. Raw IP addresses are not stored.

Recording is disabled by default
An administrator enables recording only after reviewing the data, purpose, target pages, and privacy policy.
Exclude sensitive contexts
It excludes logged-in users, password-protected pages, recognizable WooCommerce account and checkout pages, forms, editable areas, and similar sensitive contexts.
Limits and non-guarantees
This is not a copy-prevention tool and cannot detect every way information may be taken, such as screenshots or scripts. It does not guarantee SEO results, visitor identification, legal conclusions, or complete copy detection.

Frequently asked questions.
What is recorded?
It records copied selections of at least 10 characters, copy date and time, page title, a same-site normalized URL, Unicode character count, and an HMAC used to suppress short-term duplicates.
Are visitor IP addresses stored?
Copy Report does not permanently store raw IP addresses in its history. Where available, rate limiting uses a capped counter keyed by a time-limited HMAC derived with the site secret.
Can it prevent copying?
No. This reporting tool observes supported browser copy actions; it is not a copy-prevention tool.
Can it detect every copy?
No. Methods that bypass the standard copy event, including screenshots, scripts, cached content, and browser automation, are outside its scope.
Will it improve SEO rankings?
Copy counts are not sent to search engines and are not a known ranking signal. Use them to form hypotheses for improving FAQs, product descriptions, related links, and contact paths.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free records copied text and provides history search, page rankings, filtered CSV exports, and copy notifications. Pro analyzes the Free history with period comparisons, repeated-selection groups, SEO content suggestions, weekly or monthly reports, and full-range CSV, JSON, and SQL exports.
What should I review before enabling it?
Review what you collect, why you collect it, retention, and the email delivery path. Update your privacy policy or consent notice where needed. Recording is disabled on new installations.
